Darrel and Jean (Lyon) Fyffe, The Villages, Florida, will celebrate
their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception in Bowling Green on
Saturday, July 2.
The Fyffes were married June 25, 1961, at the Kirkpatrick Church of
Christ, Marion, Ohio. They have two children, Sharon (Christopher)
Hughes of Hamilton, Ohio; and James of Milford Center. They also have
three grandchildren: Gretchen, Nikki, and Thomas.
Dr. Fyffe retired from Bowling Green State University and Kentucky
Christian Collage (KCC) where he was professor of Science and Math
Education. Mrs. Fyffe worked for a number of years as cashier at the
Bowling Green Junior High School cafeteria and later was the business
manager for the KCC vocal music department.
They are enjoying an
active retirement in Florida.
