Perrysburg High School
Perrysburg High School’s Adam Weber was named BCSN’s May Student of the Month.
"Adam is a very intelligent, creative and personable young man," stated Perrysburg
Superintendent Tom Hosler. "As a student and leader, Adam has made a lasting impression not only on
his classmates and high school but the entire community."
Each student of the month automatically qualifies for a minimum $1,500 scholarship, which can be used
toward tuition, room and board (on campus), books and fees. This is the sixth year that the BCSN
Scholarship Project Fund is offering this program. It is administered by the Toledo Community Foundation
and recognizes select college-bound seniors who will be attending an accredited school of higher
education in the fall.
Each month (October 2010 – May 2011), a Student of the Month is chosen from applications submitted by the
high school counselors whose schools are located within the Buckeye CableSystem Service area. The
criteria used for selection of Student of the Month include academic achievement (GPA of 3.0 or above);
individual motivation, ability and potential; financial need; and demonstration of active participation
in extra curricular activities such as athletics, clubs, internships and work/study programs.
Representatives from Toledo Community Foundation review the applications.
