Leaders of Tomorrow
The Leaders of Tomorrow 4-H group met Sunday. The health and safety officer explained why you should wear
sunscreen.
There were two demonstrations. Ben Wilhelm did a demonstration on how to make bread. Lauren Strow showed
everyone her camera and how it works it for her demonstration.
Lisa and Ben Wilhelm taught the group how to make noodles for the club project.
Members were reminded to meet behind St. Louis school for the Memorial Day parade May 30 at 12:30 p.m.
The group decided on float and booth themes.
Shannon Strow was selected for the queen candidate. Members were asked how far they were on their
projects. June 5 is the next meeting at 2 p.m. and will be held at Ben Wilhelm’s house.
Beaver Creek Boosters
Members of the Beaver Creek Boosters 4-H Club met Friday at Mary Jane Thurston Park.
Members discussed livestock entry information and played games. The games were raccoon circle, hockey,
and the car washing game.
Future projects include an outdoor cookout and bug food, demonstrations, and discussion of judging dates
and what is expected at judging time.
The next meeting will be June 12 from 7 to 9 p.m.
