LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Toledo won both of its games against Gwinnett in International League play over the
weekend. The Mud Hens are 19-19 overall.
Toledo won on Saturday, 13-1. The ‘Hens had 17 hits in the agme compared to three for the Braves. Ben
Guez, Clete Thomas, Argenis Diaz and Max St. Pierre each had three hits for Toledo, and Scott Thorman
and Danny Worth each hit a home run. Starter Andrew Oliver picked up the win, allowing one earned run in
seven innings pitched.
The ‘Hens won on Sunday, 6-5. Will Rhymes, Diaz and Thomas each had three hits for Toledo, and Omir
Santos hit a home run. Starter Adam Wilk allowed four earned runs in five innings for the win, and
Enrique Gonzalez pitched a scoreless ninth for his fifth save of the season.
