PEMBERVILLE – Bittersweet Farms announces a new program, Friday Night Fun, offered one Friday of each
month.
Friday Night Fun will provide structured recreation activities to individuals with autism based on the
knowledge and skills that Bittersweet has learned in over 25 years of serving people with autism.
The dates are June 24, July 2, Aug. 26, Sept. 30 and Oct. 28.
A typical evening will consist of outdoor activities, meal preparation and family-style meal, crafts and
art activities, and movie and clean-up.
Participants can be any individual age 12 and over who has a diagnosis on the Autism Spectrum.
Participants can be dropped off at 5 p.m. and picked up at 9:30 p.m., giving family members/caregivers a
night on their own.
The cost is $25 per session and a reservation is required for each Friday that an individual attends.
Those attending will be required to fill out an application and include copies of their ISP and Behavior
Support Plan if applicable.
The application is due at least one week prior to the first Friday Night Fun that the participant
attends.
