A Bowling Green man is dead following a traffic accident at Silverwood Road south of U.S. 6 Thursday
evening.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at approximately 6:54 p.m.
Kevin Niswander, 47, driving a 2008 Nissan Altima, was northbound on
Silverwood Road and drove off the right side of the roadway. He
over-corrected and drove off the left side of the roadway
and began rotating counter clockwise, striking a tree with the driver’s
side door.
Niswander was transported to the Wood County Coroner’s Office by Mid County Ambulance. He was wearing a
seat belt.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Center Township Fire/Rescue Police
Department, Mid County Ambulance, and Life Star assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
