Carrie Carpenter and Eric Cliffel were united in marriage April 15 in a 5 p.m. ceremony at Mandalay Bay’s
Valley of the Falls in Las Vegas.
The bride is the daughter of Norm and Carol Carpenter, Steen Road, Weston. The groom is the son of Greg
and Marie Cliffel of Powell.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory A-line gown with sweetheart neckline. The bodice
and ruffled skirt were embellished with beading and embroidered appliques.
Molly Carpenter of Atlanta, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.
The bride’s attendants were Danielle Axton, Melissa Lu, Janelle Montano and Susie Zoeller, all of
Columbus; Jackie Carpenter of Weston, sister-in-law of the bride; and Justin Martin of Orlando.
The women in the wedding party wore eggplant chiffon gowns.
Stella Cliffel of Chicago, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
Ring bearer was the bride’s nephew, Cove Carpenter, Weston.
Mark Cliffel, Chicago, served as best man for his brother.
The groom’s attendants were Eric Snow, Baltimore, Md.; Jordan Matola and Uriah Martin, both of Columbus;
Cara Spagna, Dublin; Antoine Henderson, Cleveland; and Sterling Roberts, Raleigh, N.C.
The fathers of the bride and groom sang a solo at the ceremony.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Puerto Rico and are now at home in Columbus.
The bride graduated from Bowling Green High School in 2002 and Ohio State University in 2006. She is
employed by Komet USA, Columbus.
The groom graduated from Dublin Scioto High School in 1999 and OSU in 2003. He is employed by HER Real
Living, Columbus.
