Elmwood, Lake and North Baltimore were the No. 1 seeds for their respective sectional high school
softball tournaments that start Saturday.
Elmwood plays in the Division III sectional on its home field, while Lake plays in Division III at Genoa
and North Baltimore plays in Division IV at Miller City.
Bowling Green and Northwood were seeded second, BG in Division I on its home field and Northwood in
Division IV at Gibsonburg High School.
Following is the sectional information for the country schools:
DIVISION I
At BGHS
Bowling Green (11-6) plays Perrysburg (13-5) or Lima Senior (0-13) in a sectional final May 10 at 5 p.m.
The Perrysburg-Lima Senior game is Saturday at 11 a.m.
Anthony Wayne was the No. 1 seed.
The sectional champions advance to the district semifinals at Tiffin University May 17-18.
DIVISION III
At Elmwood
Elmwood plays Otsego or Fostoria in a sectional final May 10 at 5 p.m.
The Otsego-Fostoria game is Saturday at 11 a.m.
Eastwood plays Lakota in a first-round game Saturday at 2 p.m.
The winner plays second-seeded Patrick Henry in a sectional final May 12 at 5 p.m.
The sectional champions advance to the district semifinals at BGHS May 17-18.
At Genoa
Lake (10-3) plays Genoa (6-3) or Gibsonburg (2-8) in a sectional final May 12 at 5 p.m.
Rossford (8-8) plays Cardinal Stritch (6-5) in a first-round game Saturday at 11 a.m.
The winner plays second-seeded Woodmore in a sectional final May 10 at 5 p.m.
The sectional champions advance to the district semifinals at BGHS May 17-18.
DIVISION IV
At Gibsonburg High School
Northwood (10-4) plays Danbury (4-11) in a first-round game Saturday at 10 a.m.
The winner plays Fostoria St. Wendelin (3-5) in a sectional final May 10 at 5 p.m.
Fremont St. Joseph (11-6) was the No. 1 seed.
The sectional champions advance to the district semifinals at Fostoria High School May 17-18.
At Miller City
North Baltimore (11-2) plays Arcadia (10-3) or Holgate (1-10) in a sectional final May 12 at 5 p.m.
Miller City (10-2) was the No. 2 seed.
The sectional champions advance to the district semifinals at Findlay High School May 17-18.
