Virginia L. Neiderhouse

Virginia L. Neiderhouse, 92, passed in eternal peace on April 13, 2011.
She was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 17, 1918 to Frank M. and Maude M. (Dickes) Gulick.
Virginia was active in her church, The First Presbyterian Church and was interested in politics. She was
also active in campaigns for her husband in mayoral races and for Jimmy Carter and Jack Kennedy for
President.
In August, 1989, she received a certificate of Honor from the Secretary of State for 25 years of service
to the voters of Ohio as an official poll worker. Virginia was also active in a sewing club for 70
years.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Lloyd H. Neiderhouse in 1996, her parents and two
sisters and two brothers. She was a loving mother to Jane (Gary) May of Bowling Green and Marilyn
(Clement) Schmitt of Illinois; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; one niece, Ann Niner
of Florida and one nephew, Peter (Ruthie) Gulick of New Hampshire; special friends, Edwin Greany and
Krista Kiessling.
Friends will be received Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 5 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South
Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor
Good officiating. Burial will be private in Fort Meigs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The First Presbyterian Church of Perrysburg, Marklund at
Millcreek Endowment Fund (Home of her grandson Jeffrey) or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
