MILLBURY – The Lake Township Music in the Park will be back where it belongs this summer.
Following a June 5 tornado, the Friday evening series was moved to the Walbridge pool in 2010.
"Glad to see that back home," said Melanie Bowen, chairwoman of the Lake Township Trustees at
this month’s meeting.
Joining the concerts will be the farmers market, which had been held on Wednesdays at the park, which is
located outside the administration building on Ohio 795 and Cummings Road.
Bowen said the move is to capitalize on the attendance for the music in the park.
The farmers market will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. starting June 17.

¥ July 22, Sneakers Band
¥ July 29, Ottawa County Bluegrass Band
¥ Aug. 5, Glass City Dixieland Band
¥ Aug. 12, Sleek Brother Band (country)
The performances are from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Hot dogs, brats, root beer floats and pop will be available.
Participants should bring their own lawnchairs.
If it rains, concerts will be in the administration building.
