Daniel L. Scarberry, age 56, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday evening, April 7, 2011 at his home in
Walbridge.
He was born on January 15, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio.
Dan was a member of Lake High School Class of 1973.
While living in Toledo he was employed by New York Carpet World. Later he moved to Florida, where he
worked in a shipyard. He had recently moved back to Walbridge to help care for his mother, Leota
Scarberry, who survives.
In addition to his mother, Dan is survived by his daughter, Desiree Scarberry, of Lutz, Florida; sisters,
Marcia Scarberry and Cathey (Richard) Vail; nephews, Joshua (Nicole) Vail of Northwood and Zachary
(Emily) Vail of Wapakoneta; great-nephew, Quinn Vail.
Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Forrest L. Scarberry, and brother, Joseph A. Scarberry.
Services will be private.
