North Baltimore High School
Ricci Emahiser was named the Student of the Month for January at North Baltimore High School.
Ashley Miller was the honoree for February.
Emahiser is a sophomore and has a grade point average of 4.0. She is the daughter of Tonya and Rick
Emahiser.
She was a member of National Junior Honor Society and is a member of student council.
She is involved in volleyball, basketball, softball and cheerleading. She has received the coaches’ award
in cheerleading and basketball, and was also awarded the Greg Conine Award.
Emahiser plans to attend college after high school, focusing on becoming a lawyer or majoring in a
mathematics-related field.
Miller, a senior, is the daughter of Shawyn and Dennis Miller. She has a grade point average of 3.8.
Miller is a member of the National Honor Society and is on the honor roll. She has been a member of the
high school volleyball team all four years and was a member of the softball team her freshman and
sophomore years.

Her extracurricular activities include being president of Tri-M, secretary of National Honor Society, and
a member of Teen Institute, art club, drama club, pep band, marching band and concert band. She also
volunteers at West Haven with her father.
Miller plans to attend Bowling Green State University, majoring in graphic design.
