PERRYSBURG – A series of programs for homeschoolers will be offered at the Way Public Library in April.

¥ On Tuesday at 2 p.m. the Homeschoolers’ Book Talk, for ages 8 to 12, will discuss "The BFG"
by Roald Dahl. This original and humorous fantasy story is about an orphaned girl who is kidnapped by a
giant for the purpose of keeping the existence of giants a secret. Attendees should register for Book
Talk at the youth services desk when they pick up their book for checkout.
¥ The program Get Creative with Haiku and Watercolors will be offered April 11 at 2 p.m. for ages 8 to
12. Children will learn about haiku and write their own poem. A former art teacher will demonstrate
watercolor skills. Students will then use this medium to illustrate their poetry. Finished poems will be
displayed in the children’s area. Online registration is required.
¥ History Hikers will be offered April 20 at 2 p.m. for ages 7 to 12. The focus will be the Seven Natural
Wonders of the World. Students will learn about these sights as they travel across the globe. Online
registration is required.
Online registration may be done at www.waylibrary.info or call (419) 874-3135 ext. 116.
