Dick and Laurie Newlove, Bowling Green, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Marie Peters,
to Mark Kenneth Rutkus, son of Michael and Beverly Rutkus, Kent.
The bride-to-be graduated from Bowling Green High School and from Bowling Green State University with
bachelor’s degrees in interpersonal communications and marketing. She is currently employed as a branch
manager for PS Executive Centers in Columbus.
Rutkus graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School and graduated summa cum laude from Ohio State
University, earning bachelor’s degrees in English and political science. He is employed by the Columbus
City Attorney’s Office and also serves as chairman of the Franklin County Democratic Party Central
Committee.
They are planning an Aug. 19 wedding at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Columbus.
