BG BPU canceled
Bowling Green’s Board of Public Utilities has canceled its meeting scheduled for Monday night due to a
lack of agenda items.
The next scheduled meeting is March 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Administrative Services Building, 304 N.
Church St.
Haskins council committees meet
HASKINS – The village facilities and grounds committee will meet Monday at 5:30 p.m. to discuss various
topics. The rules and ordinances committee will be meeting following facilities.
Driver hurt
PERRYSBURG – One woman was taken to an area hospital following a crash Tuesday evening at the Interstate
75 north ramp and U.S. 20.
According to Perrysburg Police, at 6:11 p.m., Julie Dearing, Perrysburg, operating a 2003 Chrysler
Sebring, was stopped for a red signal preparing to turn right on red. As she began her turn, a no turn
on red signal activated and she stopped the vehicle. Daniel Schoenfelt, driving a 1999 Buick LeSabre,
struck her vehicle. He was cited for improper starting.
Dearing was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, Maumee, by Perrysburg EMS for evaluation.
eBook users program Tuesday
Wood County District Public Library, in partnership with the Wood County Senior Center is offering a free
program, "Using eBooks @ WCDPL" Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the library TechLab. Topics will include
an overview of reading devices, finding and checking out eBooks from the digital catalog, and
downloading digital material.
Registration is required. Participants should have a good working knowledge of basic computer skills.

Food distribution set in Wayne
WAYNE – The Wayne Food Pantry will be distributing food Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the fire hall.
The giveaway is for residents in the 43466 zip code who meet eligibility requirements.
