A crash on Interstate 75 just south of the Ohio 582 intersection involving two trucks injured one person
Friday at 12:37 p.m. and blocked traffic on the interstate.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Middleton Fire Department to the scene and, according to
the sheriff’s department, a crew from the Ohio EPA was also called to deal with a hazardous spill.
One person was taken to Wood County Hospital, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.
The patrol has little information available this morning about the crash which occurred when one truck
slowed down and was rear-ended by another.
The accident cause bumper-to-bumper traffic through downtown Bowling Green throughout the afternoon.
