BGSU group seeks projects
Bowling Green State University’s Student Government is seeking neighborhood projects for its BGSU B!G
Event April 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The projects can include yard work, painting, window washing and other activities as long as the
benefactor provides the appropriate equipment.
The project is intended to show community awareness and spirit, along with an effort to build
partnerships.
Job requests will be accepted until March 25. A form is available to fill out online at bgsu.edu/usg or
can be printed and mailed to Undergraduate Student Government, 404 Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Bowling
Green, Ohio 43403.
Questions may be directed to USG at (419) 372-8116 starting Monday when students return from spring
break.
Pie ( ? ) Day! Monday 3.14
From 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. visit the Wood County Park District’s Reuthinger Preserve greenhouse to help
transplant seedlings.
After the transplanting is finished helpers will enjoy a slice of pie. Your math teacher never dished out
something that tasted this good.
Thrivent meets Sunday at 1:30
The March meeting of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will be Sunday at Hope Lutheran Church, beginning
at 1:30 p.m.
The church is located at 13507 Cloverdale Road. All Thrivent members are invited to attend.
Sundaes return for 3rd Sunday
Sundaes on Sundays at the Wood County District Public Library will continue for a third week
Serving will be from 3 to 4 p.m. in the library’s Community Room.
