Market vendors meeting in BG
The organizers of the Downtown Farmers’ Market in Bowling Green are holding an informational meeting at
Grounds for Thought, 174 S. Main St., Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Returning vendors and those interested in becoming vendors for the 2011 season are invited.
The mission of the market is to encourage local production and consumption of crops and goods by
providing a centralized weekly market for the producers of such goods. The organizers strive to support
the local economy by creating a mutually beneficial relationship between the downtown businesses and the
market vendors.
Learn mosaic with BG Parks
Bowling Green Parks and Recreation is offering a class for adults, "12×12 Mosaic Glass Window."

Adults will create a window to display. The class begins Tuesday and run for three weeks at the Bowling
Green Community Center, from 7 to 9 p.m. (last class is 7 to 8 p.m.). Gail Christofferson of Animal
House Glass is the instructor.
The cost is $50 for residents and $58 for nonresidents; all materials and supplies are included.

The Central Joint Fire District Board will meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the fire station, 13179 Mermill
Road.
