Traffic blitz planned for Super Bowl weekend

Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn announced Tuesday that the sheriff’s office will have increased
patrol activity during Super Bowl weekend through funding from the Ohio Traffic Safety Office.
Deputies will work additional hours, funded by the grant, looking for impaired drivers, enforcing traffic
laws, and monitoring speed and seat belt violations.
