Euchre tourney Sat. at G. Rapids
GRAND RAPIDS – Sons of American Legion Post 232 will host a euchre tournament Saturday at the post on
U.S. 24 at Yawberg Road.
Doors open at noon and play begins at 1 p.m. Food and beverages are provided and there is a $5 entry fee.

Revolving loan meeting Monday
Bowling Green’s Revolv-ing Loan Fund Committee will meet Monday at 4 p.m. to review an application for a
small business loan.
The meeting will be held in the conference room of the Bowling Green Com-munity Development Foun-dation,
121 E. Wooster St.
Adopt a hydrant suggested in BG
Bowling Green Fire Division is asking citizens to consider "adopting" a fire hydrant near their
home or business and keep it clear of snow.
The Fire Division is stressing the importance of uncovering fire hydrants after this recent winter storm.
An area of approximately three feet should be cleared around the hydrant and a path to the hydrant
should be shoveled. Those actions will allow firefighters to quickly locate the fire hydrant and obtain
a water supply for firefighting activities.
Portage Township will meet Feb. 21
The Portage Township Trustees have canceled their regular meeting originally scheduled for Monday and
will now meet on Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the township hall, corner of Huffman
and Mermill roads.
Karaoke at VFW
VFW Post 1148 will host karaoke Saturday from 8 to midnight at 719 S. Main St. The evening is open to
everyone.
Eagles serve spaghetti dinner
ROSSFORD – Rossford Eagles 2322 will have an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner on Tuesday from 5 to 7;30
p.m.
The meal also will include salad, bread, dessert and beverage for a cost of $8.
The public is welcome.
The club is located at 658 Lime City Road.
