Accidents occurred:
Jan. 15
¥ at Wayne Road, seven-tenths of a mile north of Graham Road in Montgomery Township.
Kathryn Day, Wayne, was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control after the 1997 Ford Escort she
was operating struck a bridge and later a mailbox.
¥ at State Route 199, four-tenths of a mile north of Sugar Ridge Road in Webster Township. A 2002 Jeep
Liberty driven by Jason Sisco, Bradner, reportedly lost control on the now and ice-covered road and
struck a ditch. Sisco and his 10-year-old passenger did not report injury.
¥ at Elmore Road a quarter-mile west of State Route 23 in Freedom Township. Gilbert Bailey, Luckey, was
cited for failure to maintain reasonable control and failure to wear a seat belt after the 1997 Ford
Ranger he was operating lost control and struck a utility pole. He and his juvenile passenger both
reported possible injury but were not transported to a hospital.
¥ at 15341 N. River Road, Freedom Township. Joshua Carr, Pemberville, was cited for failure to maintain
reasonable control after the 1992 Honda Accord he was operating struck a 2002 Chevy 1500 driven by
Timothy Buchanan, Bowling Green.
A caller advised that subjects were crawling over a fence in order to enter Portage Quarry on South Dixie
Highway.
On Douglas Drive, a Cygnet resident advised that someone was calling and texting his girlfriend and
sexually harassing her.
In the 7800 block of Bradner Road, Risingsun, a caller reported that eight snowmobiles were in her front
yard before leaving towards Fostoria. She advised that there was damage to her fence.
Tools were reported stolen from a building on a property in the 12000 block of Pemberville Road, Bradner
Jan. 16.
On Jan. 16, an officer was requested at a residence in Fostoria in reference to a domestic violence
incident that occurred in the county Jan. 15.
In the 17000 block of Needles Road, North Baltimore, on Jan. 16, a woman reported that a white male
subject with a black moustache was taking photographs of her residence and buildings. He reportedly was
driving a tan GMC SUV and left the area in the direction of Hoytville.
A blue 1988 Chevrolet pickup truck, with a yellow front plow, plow lights and a flatbed on the back was
reported stolen Jan. 16 from BG Auto and Truck Accessories on North Dixie Highway. The vehicle had last
been seen at 5 p.m. on Jan. 15, and tracks at the scene showed that the vehicle had headed northbound.
Keys for the truck that were last seen in the business were not located.
In Wayne in the 10000 block of Pemberville Road, a civil dispute was reported Jan. 16 between and
landlord and tenant. The tenant alleged that the landlord entered their residence while she was gone.

On Jan. 16, in the 900 block of Main Street, Jerry City, a woman requested a deputy to speak with a male
subject she said was damaging their shared yard with a three-wheeler.

¥ at Bushey Road, a quarter-mile north of Oil Center Road in Bloom Township. Jay Instone, Cygnet, was
cited for operation without reasonable control and stopping after an accident after the 2005 Ford F-150
he was operating struck a utility pole.
Jan. 18 citations:
Possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia – Robert Grayson II, Gibsonburg.

¥ at U.S. Route 6 and Wapakoneta Road. Antonio Martinez, Bowling Green, was cited for assured clear
distance ahead after the 1986 Jeep Commander he was operating struck a 1996 Ford F-150 driven by Katie
Meyers, McClure. Martinez reportedly sustained a cut on his lip but was not transported to a hospital.
Meyers and her 4-year-old passenger were not injured.
In the 14000 block of King Road, in rural Bowling Green, a man reported that his mailbox had been
vandalized and that several broken pieces of PVC pipe were found nearby.
In the 18000 block of Robinson Road, in rural Bowling Green, a woman reported a telephone call she had
received to the Sheriff’s Office.
A woman living in a Weston trailer court reported that a Toledo man had threatened to kill her and her
son, and had also made similar threats to her family by phone the previous week.
