Bruce Jeffers announced that he has filed petitions for the At-Large seat on Bowling Green City Council,
running as a Democrat.
Jeffers is a mathematics teacher at Otsego High School and lives with his wife, Amy, and two children at
150 Meeker St.
Jeffers has worked with Habitat for Humanity, Rural Opportunities, and formerly served on the Bowling
Green Tree Commission. Along with his work in education, he has worked in the horticulture industry as a
landscaper and tree patent administrator.
Jeffers is excited to begin his grassroots campaign once the weather warms up. "I have enjoyed
living in Bowling Green and wish to serve the community on council, working to make Bowling Green a
better community and to maintain our important city services during these tough economic times."
