Gertrude (Bossler) Sharpe, a lifetime Wood County resident, is celebrating her 90th birthday today with a
family dinner.
She was born on Jan. 21, 1921 at the family home on Jerry City Road.
She worked for the A & P in Bloomdale until it closed, and then worked for the State of Ohio
Highway Dept. until her retirement.
She is an avid baker, and still makes her large sugar cookies.
She
has four children, Jim Piper of Cortland; John Piper, Bradner; Sandra
Piper, Findlay; and Pat Nungester, Bloomdale. There are seven
