Jan. 4 incidents:
A Portage man was arrested in the village and charged with domestic violence, possession of drugs, and
possession of drug paraphernalia.
In the 100 block of Corey Road in Cygnet, Johnboy Charles, Cygnet, was arrested and charged with criminal
damaging following an incident at the residence. He reportedly left the residence in a vehicle and was
later located by the state patrol. In a search of the residence, blood and numerous animal carcasses and
body parts were found in the garage, and a game warden was contacted. A copy of the report was also to
be forwarded to Children’s Services.
In the 900 block of Main Street, Jerry City, an attempted breaking and entering incident was reported.

An assault involving an "out-of-control" elementary school student was reported at Elmwood
Schools, Bloomdale.
An unwanted guest was reported in the 6500 block of Holcomb Road, Pemberville.
On U.S. 6, a rural Bowling Green resident reported they had received text messages from an employee
threatening to kill their animals and making other threatening remarks.
In the 13000 block of Reitz Road, Perrysburg, a caller reported that their dogs were barking and that
there may be someone outside the residence.
Jan. 5 incidents:
At a residence in the 13000 block of Larch Court, in rural Bowling Green, Jesus Olvera, Toledo,
reportedly failed to pay for a $22.75 cab fare to the residence and banged on the doors and windows
before leaving the area. A request for a warrant for theft was issued, and he reportedly later returned
to the residence and stole a grill cover early Jan. 6. He was later arrested Jan. 6 on a charge of
theft.
Neal Christensen, Jerry City, was taken into custody on a warrant.
In the 6300 block of South Main Street, Wayne, a civil dispute was reported in which a woman alleged that
her landlord was stealing her electricity. She claimed that there were cords running from his apartment.

In rural Bowling Green, a 10-year-old juvenile was reported to have been hiding behind a tree in the
18000 block of Brim Road for over two hours.
A deputy was requested to take a report of identity theft in the 20000 block of U.S. 6, Weston.
In the area of Kiel Road and Euler Road, Weston, a caller reported a group of between six and eight
teenage males who were acting as though they were going to throw each other into traffic. They were gone
upon the arrival of deputies to the scene.
Jan. 6 citations:
Traffic control device (stop sign) – Michael Smith, Weston.
Accident occurred:
Jan. 6
¥ at Ohio 199 and West Millgrove Road. A 2008 Ford Taurus owned by Marcus Paris, Findlay, was located
unoccupied in a field near the intersection. The vehicle had apparently sustained damage. A 911 call had
been received from a residence in the 6500 block of North Main Street, West Millgrove, stating that
there was a man, later identified as Paris, advising of an accident. The resident reportedly helped
Paris look for the vehicle, but it was not initially located. He was later taken to a Findlay residence.

A narcotics or drugs incident was reported in the 20000 block of Oak Street, Dunbridge.
