Robbery suspect caught at Perrysburg

(Updated 11:48 a.m. 1-14) PERRYSBURG – Police early this morning took into custody a man they believe
robbed a bank on West South Boundary Street Thursday afternoon.
The suspect, David Poling, 52, no permanent address, was taken into custody about 1 a.m. by Perrysburg
Police and the FBI Fugitive Task Force. He has been charged with aggravated robbery.
Police say that during the arrest evidence was recovered in the suspect’s vehicle and the vehicle was
towed for investigative purposes.
Poling is being held at the Wood County Justice Center.
Police said calls and information from citizens helped to locate the suspect.
The robbery took place at approximately 1:35 p.m. at PNC Bank, 100 W. South Boundary. The suspect stated
that he had a weapon but did not show it during the incident. He fled the bank with an undetermined
amount of money.
