Monthly healing service planned at Vineyard
PERRYSBURG – Vineyard Church of Toledo, 210 E. South Boundary, Perrysburg, will hold its monthly
"Worship and Healing Night" on Sunday at 6 p.m.
Area churches in the Toledo area will join together for a time of extended worship followed by a prayer
for the sick and ministry for those who are looking for a touch from God.
The public is invited.
Senior CSI event looks at oral histories
PERRYSBURG – CSI, Christian Seniors Interacting, invite all seniors in the area to attend its next
meeting to be held Jan. 25 at Abundant Life No. 2, 200 Zoar Drive, Perrysburg. The event is held twice
each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There is a $3 charge for miscellaneous expenses.
The 11:30 a.m. Bible study will be led by Pastor Ann Marshall of Zoar Lutheran Church. Lunch is served at
noon, provided by A to Z Healthcare.
The program which follows will be "Oral Histories," with Dr. Willie McKether of University of
Toledo.
Seniors should call (419) 872-0846 for information and reservations which need to be made by next Friday.

Baked steak supper
McCLURE – The McClure United Methodist Church will have a baked steak supper tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. in
the church fellowship hall. Carry-outs are available.
A free-will offering will be taken. The church is located on Ohio 65, just south of U.S. Route 6.
Concert in Findlay
FINDLAY – The 2010 Lighthouse Concert will hold its first concert of 2011 on Saturday at the facility
located at 10055 Ohio 224 West, Findlay. The singers will be Molly Pickett and Isaac Steinhour, both of
Findlay and the Gloryway Quartet of Marion.
The concert will be held at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
Donations will be taken for the musicians. Food donations will be taken for the Salvation Army.
Bethlehem celebrating 150th
PEMBERVILLE – Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, is celebrating its sesquicentennial this year.
A variety of events will be held during the year. More information will be published as the various
events are scheduled.
Budget meals focus of Meet N Eat
There will be a speaker from Budget-Meals, www.budget-meals.org, at the weekly Meet N Eat program at
First Presbyterian Church, Bowling Green, on Jan. 26.
This is a non-profit, Columbus-based group and the representative will share how the organization is
helping Ohio families in need.
Dinner is served at 6 p.m., with the program to follow. Nursery care is available from 7 to 8 p.m. for
parents who wish to use the service for the program.
This Wednesday’s program will feature Mark Young, president of the American Civil War Museum of Ohio. His
presentation was postponed due to weather conditions this week.
Women’s retreat offered
PERRYSBURG – Vineyard Church of Perrysburg will hold a ladies retreat on Jan. 29 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
at the Lodge at Strawberry Acres, Holland. Registration cost is $30 by Sunday and $35 after Sunday.
The retreat is called "Who Are You? Your Identity in Christ," focusing on the new identity one
claims as a follower of Jesus.
The speaker is Felicia Hopkins, a senior associate pastor at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in El
Paso, Texas. Hopkins leads a for women monthly worship service.

Parish retreat set
St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Bowling Green, will hold its annual parish retreat on Jan. 21-22.
Movie night on Saturday at Sugar Ridge church
SUGAR RIDGE – The Sugar Ridge Community Church, 11634 Sugar Ridge Road, will hold another of its ongoing
series of free "Movie Nights" on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the church.
"Letters to God" will be shown. Snacks will be served and the public is invited to attend this
free event.
Choir and orchestra seek new members
The Christian Festival Choir and Orchestra are looking for people who love to sing and play. Practices
are just beginning on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Reformation Lutheran Church, 4543 Douglas Road,
Toledo.
Members come from many churches in northwest Ohio and southeastern Michigan and are being sought for all
positions. Rehearsals will continue on Saturdays until the Exaltation 2011 concert at Northwood High
School March 25 and 27.
