James Hyde Jr., of Bowling Green, will spend nine years in prison after pleading guilty to an August rape
involving a teen victim.
He was sentenced on Jan. 3 in Wood County Common Pleas Court by Judge Michael Kelbley, sitting by
assignment. Hyde, 47, was also ordered to register as a Tier III sexual offender. Prior to sentencing,
statements were made by both attorneys, Hyde, his victim and both of her parents.
The judge ordered the nine years be mandatory. A second count of rape was dropped through a negotiated
plea agreement. Hyde is also subject to a term of five years of post-release control following serving
his time.
Tremell Foster, 35, of North Baltimore, will spend four years in prison for a community control violation
of his convictions in a 2007 case.
Foster was convicted in 2007 of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and a
second charge of attempted felonious assault. Both charges are third-degree felonies.
He stipulated to the violation in the courtroom of Judge Reeve Kelsey.
According to court records, on April 7, 2007, Foster led police on a chase through Fostoria with speeds
reaching 100 miles per hour. He failed to stop at stop lights and red lights.
The judge ordered two years in prison for each charge and ordered those terms to be served consecutive to
each other pursuant to statute. Foster was placed on four years of community control sanctions when
sentenced in 2007, including participating in programs as ordered by the probation department.
In September 2009, he was convicted of no operator’s license in Findlay Municipal Court. On Oct. 22,
2010, a random drug test revealed, and Foster admitted, he had consumed alcohol in violation of his
sanctions.

amount of $4,050. (Judge Alan Mayberry)
¥ Ronald Mihalovich, 24, of Rossford, nine months for a July 11 assault of a peace officer. Court records
