LIME CITY – A Perrysburg man was arrested Jan. 3 on charges including aggravated burglary after he
reportedly broke into an apartment in Perrysburg Township.
According to Perrysburg Township Police, at 2:59 a.m. three officers were dispatched to an apartment in
the 7400 block of Lunitas Lane in reference to an aggravated burglary in progress. Officers had been
advised that the suspect had entered the residence and was attempting to break down the victim’s bedroom
door.
Officers kicked open the door to the apartment to gain entry, and found Deiter Held standing over two
female residents on a bed in the rear bedroom.
Held, of Perrysburg, reportedly appeared intoxicated, and it took several orders at gun point to get him
to the ground.
One of the residents said that Held was her boyfriend and she had been with him earlier that night. In a
written statement, she said Held later returned to the residence but she did not let him in. He
eventually broke her bedroom window and she went to the other female resident’s bedroom and locked the
door. Held reportedly entered the bedroom through the window, knocked on the door and then broke it
open.
Held was charged with aggravated burglary, criminal damage, and disorderly conduct.
