Lights Before Christmas returns this weekend
TOLEDO – For those who missed the 25th Lights Before Christmas display, or if a family just wants another
chance to see it, the Toledo Zoo is offering one more opportunity with a special Encore
Presentation-Friday and Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m.
Admission prices are $11 for adults, $8 for children (2-11) and seniors (60 and older). Children under
age 2 are free.

Pork roast/beef tip meal Jan. 13
OREGON – A pork roast or beef tip dinner will be held Jan. 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Christ Dunberger
American Legion, 4925 Pickle Road, Oregon.
The cost will be $8 for adults and $5 for children 12-6, while children 5 and under are free. Carryout
meals are available.
Kidney disease support group to start meeting at Fostoria
FOSTORIA – The Kidney Disease Support Group will meet Tuesday for the first time at 6 p.m. at Fostoria
Community Hospital. This support group is free and open to the public.
The group was developed as an extended support service to those who have kidney disease, their family
members and interested public.
The group will meet the second Tuesday of each month in the Fostoria Community Hospital Conference
Center, on the hospital’s lower level, entrance 2.

Crafter’s day set at Fremont
FREMONT – Crafter’s Day at Grace Lutheran Church, 705 W. State St. , will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5
p.m.
The public may bring their own craft supplies for anything they want to work on and a potluck food dish.
The cost for space is $5.

request from 9 a.m. to noon.
Pigeon show is Jan. 15
FREMONT – The Fremont Pigeon Club will hold an all-age pigeon show on Jan. 15 at 8 a.m. at the Sandusky
County Fairgrounds, at the corner of Rawson and North.
