Katherine Therese McCann and Kevin Richard Kindy were united in marriage Oct. 23 at Liberty Presbyterian
Church, Delaware.
Pastor Don Coleman conducted the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dave and Kathy McCann, Pemberville. The groom’s parents are Craig and Linda
Kindy, North Canton.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a floor-length A-line gown of diamond white shimmer
satin customized with gathered satin straps. The bodice featured intersecting pleats embellished with
lace appliques accented with seed beads, bugle beads, sequins and Swarovski crystals. The gown also
featured a corset closure and chapel-length train. She wore a feathered hair piece.
Laura Failor, Columbus, was the matron of honor. She wore a Clementine orange tea-length dress with latte
sash.
Bridesmaids, wearing identical gowns, were Shelly Miller, Pemberville; Anne Lang, San Antonio, Texas;
Melissa Merrill, Sanford, N.C.; and Samantha Basting, Denver.
Greg Wilkinson, North Canton, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Keith Kindy, brother of the groom, and Marcus Alleshouse, both of North Canton; Chris
Pohlman, Cincinnati; and Matt Kwiatkowski, Van Buren, Mich.
Matt McCann, Pemberville, and Andy McCann, Stamford, Conn., both brothers of the bride, were ushers.
Leslie Myers, cousin of the bride, was soloist for the ceremony.
A reception was held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church hall in Westerville.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Jamaica and are making their home in Columbus.
The bride graduated from Eastwood High School in 2002, Bowling Green State University in 2005, and Mount
Carmel College of Nursing in 2010. She is a registered nurse in the neurology unit at Mt. Carmel East
Hospital.
The groom is employed as an architect at Triad in Westerville. He graduated from North Canton Hoover High
School in 2002 and BGSU in 2006.
