Ernest F. Johnson, 90, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away November 6th.
Born in Haskins, Ohio on January 6, 1919 to Lewis and Nora Johnson. He was married 67 years and is
survived by his wife, Alice.
He is also survived by son, Henry Johnson, and daughter, Kathy Gash, three grandchildren, five
great-grandchildren and brother, Melvin Johnson, of Bowling Green, Ohio.
Ernest and his family moved from Ohio to Phoenix, Arizona in 1959.
Ernest was a proud Army veteran of WWII who served in seven battles, was a carpenter who built homes in
Ohio and Arizona and a wood craftsman who made over 100 clocks and furniture pieces.
Private burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower
Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85014-5656.
