in the Court of Common Pleas of Wood County, Bowling Green, Ohio, 43402.
The object of the complaint is to determine and foreclose all interest owned by you in the Land
Installment Contract for the following real property: Situated in the County of Wood and State of Ohio
and known as: The east 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 and the Northeast 1/4 of the
Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 10, Town 5 North, Range 9 East, Grand Rapids Township,
containing thirty acres, more or less.
You are required to answer the complaint within 28 days after the last publication of this notice which
will be published once each week for 6 successive weeks. The last publication will be made on 25

with: the name and address of the bidder, and the caption
“SEALED BID – CIRCUIT BREAKERS”, must contain the name of each and every
company interested in the enclosed sealed bid; and be accompanied by a properly executed Non-Collusion
Affidavit. All bidders will be required to file an Affidavit with the Finance Director of the City of
Bowling Green, Ohio, attesting that he or she owes no delinquent property taxes in Wood County, State of
Ohio.
Each bid must contain the name of every person, firm or corporation interested in it and be accompanied
by a bid bond or certified check drawn on a solvent bank in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid
payable to the City of Bowling Green, Ohio to guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be
entered into and its performance properly secured. Bids not accompanied by a bid bond or
certified check in the amount stated above, or received after the above date and time, will not be
considered. Fax transmittals of bids or bid bonds will not be accepted.

The proposed work consists of the construction of approximately 2220 LF of 6-inch diameter forcemain by
directional drilling and open-cut methods including all necessary accessories and appurtenances as
specified herein.
The contract documents, including drawings and specifications, are on file at the office of the City
Engineer, City Administrative Services Building, 304 North Church Street, Bowling Green, Ohio, A set may
be obtained by depositing $50.00. Checks shall be made payable to the City of Bowling Green, Ohio
The full amount of the deposit for the first set of documents obtained will be refunded to each bona fide
bidder or vendor who returns the completed documents in good condition within ten (10) days after the
opening of bids. The full amount of the deposit will be returned to each non-bidder who returns the
documents in good condition prior to the bidding date.
Additional copies (in excess of one) of the Contract Documents may be purchased at $50.00 each. No refund
will be allowed for the return of the said additional copies.
Should a bidder prefer to receive bid documents via UPS/FedEx, arrangements must be made by that bidder
for all necessary items such as, but not limited to, mailers, envelopes, etc. to be delivered to the
City of Bowling Green with all pertinent mailing information. Otherwise, bid packets will be mailed by
USPS.
All bids shall be signed and submitted on the blanks which are bound in the specifications. Bid blanks
shall not be removed from the specifications. Bids shall state the unit prices on the blanks provided
therefor; shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked — TANGLEWOOD STORM WATER
FORCEMAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT — and addressed to the Director of Utilities, City
Administrative Services Building, 304 North Church Street, City of Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
Each bid must contain the name of every interested person, firm or corporation and be accompanied by a
bid guaranty to the City of Bowling Green as described in the contract documents.
A bid guaranty may be of two forms:
1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid using
the forms provided in the specifications. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.
2. A certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit in favor of the
City of Bowling Green in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contact is awarded, a Contract Bond will
be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond.
The Successful Bidder will be required to submit an affidavit to the City Finance Director that he has no
delinquent personal property taxes charged against him on the general tax list of personal property in
Wood County, Ohio, at the time this Bid was submitted.
Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory bid
guaranty, will neither be read nor considered.
The Successful Bidder and any and all Sub-Contractors must comply with the provisions of the Ohio Revised
Code, Chapter 4115, and will be required to enter into a separate Public Improvement Agreement with the
OWNER prior to the execution of the Contract Documents. A sample copy of said Public Improvements is
included in the Appendix
The Successful Bidder will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of
race, religion, color, sex, national origin, disability or age. The Successful Bidder will take
affirmative action to ensure that applicants for employment are considered for employment and that
employees treated during employment, without regard to their race, religion, color, sex, national
origin, disability or age. The Successful Bidder will also incorporate the requirements of this
paragraph in all of its respective contracts for subcontracted work. Further, he/she agrees that they
and any subcontractor shall comply with Ohio Administrative Code 5501-1-02, Appendix B, State Equal
Employment Opportunity Covenant.
The City of Bowling Green, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any
irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder. The City reserves the right to
award the base bid and including or substituting any alternate bid items listed in these bid documents.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt
of bids.
