Lake student has winning art for calendar contest

Lake Middle School student Ariana Cannon is the grand prize winner in the 2010 Safety Kids Calendar
Contest.
The competition is held annually by the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney’s Youth Services and Programs.

Ariana won a $100 savings bond.
Other winners include Brooke Lay from Milton Elementary; Morgan Heuker and Jessica Morales from Crim
Elementary; Alyssa Lugo, Andrew Wedon and Sophia Petros from Kenwood Elementary; Emmalyn York from
Luckey Elementary; Jessica Rice from Webster Elementary; Kyla Beecham and Erica Mathis from Lake Middle
School; and Chelsea Stewart and Evyn Deitrick from North Baltimore Middle School.
They won a $50 savings bond.
The competition was open to all Wood County school students in grades five through eight.
