The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce has announced its third Lunch & Learn session, part of its
bi-monthly seminar series presenting opportunities to learn solutions to business problems and current
issues impacting your bottom line.
The next seminar will take place on Sept. 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the David J. Joseph Hub,
Bowling Green State University Business Administration Dallas Hamilton Center in Bowling Green.
Registration fee for this event is $10 for chamber investors ($20 for non-investors), and includes
seminar materials and lunch. Registration ends Monday and is limited to the first 30 registrants.
Registrations can be made by contacting the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, located at 163 N. Main
St., by phone (419-353-7945) or e-mail [email protected].
This seminar’s topic is “Connecting You to BGSU: How Business and Industry Can Benefit From University
Programs.” The session will include topics such as: BGSU programs to enhance your business; student
projects geared towards resolving business problems; and learning how to post your business to attract
student volunteers, practicum and internship opportunity. These topics can hold vital information for
the businesses around the Bowling Green area, as they give the scoop on how students from BGSU can bring
new ideas and skills to businesses.
These topics can also help local business owners think clearly and positively about using the resources
they have to their full potential.
This session will involve an interactive discussion on how to work with the BGSU Business Administration
and Career Center personnel to offer students real world experience, while being a strong benefit to the
host business.
The speakers for this session will be representatives from the BGSU Business Administration Dallas
Hamilton Center and the BGSU Career Center.
This seminar is sponsored by the chamber, BGSU College of Business Administration, and BGSU Career
Services.
The upcoming November Lunch & Learn program will focus on marketing your business on a shoestring
budget.
