Retired judge Charles Kurfess will speak about the current state of the judiciary to the Bowling Green
Kiwanis Club at noon on Thursday at Stone Ridge Country Club.
Kurfess served as the Wood County Common Pleas Court judge for 12 years prior to his retirement in 2002.
Previously, he was in the Ohio legislature and served as the Speaker of the Ohio House of
Representatives from 1967-72.
