TOLEDO – Indianapolis scored four times off Dontrelle Willis in a 6-3 win over Toledo Sunday. The Mud
Hens are now 68-67 in the IL West.
Willis, on a rehabilitation assignment from the Detroit Tigers, struggled through four innings allowing
eight walks and three hits with five earned runs while striking out one.
Will Rhymes, Don Kelly and Wilkin Ramirez each had two hits for Toledo with Ramirez hitting a triple.
On Saturday, Indianapolis blanked the Mud Hens, 12-0. The Mud Hens managed only three hits in the game,
including Brent Dlugach’s 36th double of the season.
The loss mathematically eliminates the Hens from the IL West division race. The Louisville Bats clinched
the division for the second consecutive season.
