Knight to transfer from BG
The Bowling Green State University men’s basketball program has announced that redshirt junior Chris
Knight will transfer out of the program.
Knight played in 53 games over the past two seasons for the Falcons, averaging 8.7 points and 6.0
rebounds per game.
"Chris has been a huge part of our program and our success," BG head coach Louis Orr said
Wednesday. "Change is a part of life and he’ll always be a part of our family. I pray for nothing
but success for him. We appreciate everything he did for BG basketball."
Knight was suspended at the beginning of the 2008-09 season for three games for disciplinary reasons. He
played in 24 games (10 starts) last season, averaging 6.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
Reimold 0-for-3 for Baltimore
DETROIT – Former BGSU standout Nolan Reimold went 0-for-3 with a strikeout in the Orioles’ 4-2 loss to
Detroit Wednesday. Reimold was hit by a pitch and scored in the ninth inning.
Reimold is batting .273 on the season.
Forrest Creason holds club championships
Forrest Creason held its club championships last weekend. Kent Reichert claimed the men’s club
championship, shooting a 36-hole total of 149. Jeri Dingman claimed the women’s club championship,
firing a 160.
Other flight winners were: Men’s A – Max Church, 152; Men’s B – Brian Mozena, 152; Women’s A – Cheryl
Joyce, 170; and Women’s B – Aleta McGinnis, 184.
