Samantha Renee Schira and Jason Robert Wojcik were united in marriage July 4 at the Toledo Botanical
Gardens.
Linda Ledford conducted the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of
John and Kim Lemay, Jennings Road, Rossford. The groom is the son of Stephen Wojcik Jr., Toledo, and
Ellen Tober, Swanton.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an A-line gown of sheer tulle over satin with gathered
bodice accented by a rhinestone brooch. Her two-tiered soft tulle veil with satin trim was held by a
rhinestone tiara.
Sarah Elizabeth Haas of Akron, cousin of the bride, was the matron of honor.
Maid of honor
was Amanda Michele Schira, Toledo, sister of the bride. They each wore cocktail-length gowns of pool blue
chiffon.
Kaylee Bortz, Perrysburg, was the flower girl. She wore an ankle-length satin dress in pool blue with a
brown sash and back bow.
Ring bearer was Gage Wojcik of Perrysburg, son of the groom.
Stephen Wojcik III, Monroe, Mich., served as best man for his brother.
Usher was Mike Bortz, Perrysburg.
A reception was held at the electrical industry banquet facility in Rossford, with music furnished by DJ
Ryan Haas of Akron.
The newlyweds will make their home at 586 Garfield, Perrysburg.
The bride graduated from Rossford High School in 1999 and Owens Community College in 2001. She earned a
B.A. in Psychology from Bowling Green State University in 2005 and is employed as assistant leasing
manager for Greystone Property Management.
The groom graduated from Rossford High School and Penta County in 1999. He is employed by the U.S. Postal
Service.
