Rothenbuhler to coach at Ohio Northern
ADA -Troy Rothenbuhler, a former assistant football coach at Bowling Green State University for the last
six years, has accepted a position at Ohio Northern.
Rothenbuhler will serve as offensive coordinator and coach the quarterbacks for the Polar Bears.
At BG, he served two seasons as the assistant head coach and one as the offensive coordinator (passing
game). He also served as the recruiting coordinator from 2003-07. Rothenbuhler also coached receivers,
tight ends and defensive linemen.
Foster re-signs with Toronto
TORONTO – Former Bowling Green Falcon forward Alex Foster has re-signed with the NHL’s Toronto Maple
Leafs. He signed a one-year contract.
Foster played in 80 games last season for the Toronto Marlies, the Maple Leafs’ affiliate in the American
Hockey League. He had 12 goals and 23 assists.
Foster signed with the Maple Leafs after two seasons at BG where he totaled 19 goals and 63 assists in 72
games during the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons.
He played in three games with the Maple Leafs during the 2007-08 season.
NB sets parents meeting
NORTH BALTIMORE – North Baltimore’s athletics department has set its OHSAA mandatory fall parent meeting
for Tuesday at 7 p.m.
All fall athletes and their parents need to attend the meeting.
If an athlete cannot attend, they must set up a meeting with the individual head coach.
