I would like to say thank you to the Heart to Heart organization and to all the Bowling Green businesses
that helped out and donated items for the Bill Geahlen benefit held on May 30 in Weston. We were able to
raise $1,500. All the proceeds will go towards Bill’s medical expenses and after-care.
I would also like to say thank you to Pat Hamad (donating water), Adam Hamad (pop), Judy ("On The
Way Home" picture), Kandie Long handmade baby blankets & painted wine bottles), Rich
Raudebaugh (fly fishing rod), Helen and John Meeker (cookies); Billie Hoy (handmade afaghan, cookies and
prizes),Ronnie Babcock (donating his time & DJ service), Barb Geahlen (pop, food and prizes),
Sarah Geahlen and Chuck Robinson (pop, food and prizes), Roxanne Geahlen (food), Sharon Sutton (food and
pop), Sherry and Paul Robinson (food, table covers and their time), Josh & Amber Geahlen (food),
Michelle Schurger (food), Keith and Sue Schroyer (cookies and prize), Ron Kepling (Corn Hole games),
Chuck and Paulette Carpenter (prize), Tom and Toni Carpenter (prize), Nancy Biddle (sheet cake), Nancy
Little (prizes), Perry and Katie Richendollar (food), Mike and Crystal Huff (food) and Becky and Brad
Wade (prizes).
Again, thank you all for making this possible for Bill. He and his family appreciate all the donations
and hard work that had went into making this possible for him. We will be having a spaghetti benefit
dinner for Bill again in the fall. Fliers will be handed out as the time gets closer. Until then, we ask
that you please keep the Geahlen family lifted up in prayers.
