TOLEDO – Syracuse held on to beat Toledo 6-5 Tuesday as Toledo saw the potential game-tying run thrown
out at the plate in the bottom of the eighth inning. Toledo is 44-51 in the International league West.

Jeff Frazier and Mike Hessman each had three hits for Toledo, including a two-run home run for Frazier.
Toledo’s Brent Dlugach had now hit in 11 straight games.
