In addition to Vacation Bible Schools previously announced, officials of three more schools have provided
information regarding their upcoming events.
¥ Camp EDGE, Experience and Discover God Everywhere, will be held at First United Methodist Church,
Bowling Green, from July 20-23. Organizers indicate this program is not a typical stroll through the
woods; rather, those participating will fin an action-packed, adrenaline-filled expedition which teaches
the youth their strength and might that comes from God.
The church is currently seeking adult volunteers for the program.
¥ Two Pemberville churches are joining forces for a program July 26-30. First United Presbyterian and
Pemberville United Methodist church will hold a program beginning with a light supper at 5:30 p.m. each
day at the Presbyterian church. The program runs until 8:30 p.m. each day.
¥ "The Very Best Summer Event" is the title for a program Aug. 3-6 at Mainstreet Church, 5465
Moline-Martin Road just outside of Moline. The programs, held from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. daily, will include
barbecues, fun worship, engaging drama and wild competitions for the children and family members who may
be bold enough to join them.
Registration before July 19 is $10 per child and $15 after that date.
