LPGA champion to appear at BG golf outing
Joan Pitcock, an LPGA professional and the 1996 winner of the The Jame Farr Classic will be in attendance
a the second annual Golfing with Gil Maienknecht outing to benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research.

The outing is July 6 at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green starting at 10 a.m.
Pitcock will be available to analyze swings and offer tips during the event.

BALTIMORE – Nolan Reimold, a former Bowling Green Falcon, was used a pinch-hitter in Baltimore’s 5-4 win
over the New York Mets Thursday.
He walked and scored a run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Orioles scored twice to rally for the
