Ohio 199 crash send drivers to hospitals
WAYNE – The Ohio State Patrol reports that two drivers were taken to the hospital as a result of a
Thursday afternoon crash in the southeastern part of the county.
According to the patrol, the accident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Ohio 199 and
Jerry City Road when a vehicle driven by Margaret Kelly, Stony Ridge, stopped at a stop sign on Jerry
City Road and then proceeded through the intersection into the path of the southbound vehicle driven by
Stephanie Bell, Toledo.
Kelly’s vehicle continued off the right side of the road and came to a stop in a corn field. She was
charged with failure to yield the right-of-way at a highway stop sign.
Bradner EMS transported Bell to Wood County Hospital and Kelly to Fostoria Community Hospital. Both
drivers had non-incapacitating injuries.
