3 from Northwood earn All-TAAC first team

TOLEDO – Three Northwood athletes have earned first-team All-Toledo Area Athletic Conference honors this
spring, two in softball and one in baseball.
Ashley Lu, a senior catcher, and Sammie Brisbin, a sophomore third baseman, are the Rangers’ first-team
softball selections.
Tyler Seibert, a senior infielder and pitcher, was a first-team baseball pick for the Rangers.
In softball, Northwood’s Emily Henzler and Jordan Edwards were second-team picks and Abby Hoffman and
Alyssa Rable were honorable mention choices.
Cardinal Stritch’s Rick Henning was the softball coach of the year and Stritch’s Kristen Roznoski was the
player of the year as Stritch won the conference title.
Northwood’s Ben Wilson was a second-team selection in baseball while Cameron Juhasz and Andy Jardy were
honorable mention picks.
Toledo Christian won the baseball title as TC’s Ron Rightnowar was the coach of the year and Jake
Rightnowar was the player of the year.
