IPS opens fabrication facility in Rossford

ROSSFORD – Industrial Power Systems Inc. (IPS) has acquired a 100,000-square-foot facility in Rossford
that will be used for its fabrication services. The new fabrication facility will give the company
immediate growth opportunities by providing a larger space, immediate access to Interstate 75 and
greater flexibility.
The facility also will add 25 jobs to the Rossford workforce, with an additional 30 employment
opportunities planned. IPS moved into the former Hammill Manufacturing facility at 129 Dixie Highway and
became fully operational this month.
"This large, state of the art fabrication facility provides us with a more efficient layout and
additional space for our operations that will enhance IPS ability to meet the growing needs of
customers," said Kevin Gray, owner and chief executive officer. "Through this improvement,
clients will benefit from the only fabrication facility in either Ohio or Michigan capable of handling
large modules and vessels being used in major refineries, steel mills, and automotive facilities."

Other key facts about the new facility include:100,000 square feet available work space, with a 50,000
square foot high bay area; two 10-ton cranes along with one 5-ton overhead crane; staging area for
project mobilization; segregated area for carbon steel and stainless steel; and 11 acres for lay-down
and secure storage.
The company provides services to all heavy industrial clients and industries; including petrochemical,
food and beverage processing, manufacturing, automotive, and institutional clients.
