DESHLER – Bonnie Eileen (Wright) Kern, 84, of Deshler, died Thursday (May 28, 2009) at Wood County
Hospital.
She worked as a drug technician at Wood County Hospital.
Mrs. Kern was a member of Deshler United Methodist Church, and was a graduate of Jackson
Township-Hoytville High School.
Born Jan. 29, 1925 in Wood County to Vern and Verda (Swavely) Wright, she married Richard G. Kern on
March 7, 1944 in Deshler. He died May 18, 1992.
She also was preceded in death by a son, Gary, and three brothers, Eldon, Claude and Glenn
"Bus" Wright.
Surviving are a daughter, Kay Sidaway, McComb; a son, Ron, Fostoria; nine grandchildren; 17
great-grandchildren; and her special friend, Robert Sigler, Deshler.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler. Pastor Mary Bushong will
officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or Henry County Home Health.
