ENGAGEMENT:
Sandy and Ken Bauman, Bowling Green, announce the engagement of their son, Cody Gene, to Sarah Marie
Mensik of Crystal Lake, Ill. She is the daughter of Richard and Darcy Mensik, Greenville, S.C.
The prospective groom graduated from Bowling Green High School in 2005 and received a bachelor’s degree
in aviation management from Bowling Green State University in 2009. He is employed as an operations duty
manager at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in Greenville. He is also a staff sergeant in
the Air National Guard, serving since 2005.
The bride-to-be graduated from Crystal Lake High School in 2006 and is currently employed as a medical
biller and coder at Fundamental Communications in Greenville.
They are planning a Feb. 14 wedding at Glassy Mountain Chapel in Greenville.
