Garden GroupThe July meeting of the Garden Group of the Women’s Club of Bowling Green was held at
the home of Evelyn Bachman. Linda Kuhn and Bachman served as hostesses.The group welcomed Linda Hamilton and
Becky Bhaer as guests and new members.Members answered roll call by telling a new plant to be added to their
garden this year. Jo Vernon presented a report on killdeer and Kuhn gave a recycling hint concerning
disposal of medicine.Members continue to bring their empty pots and flats for Wood Lane to the
meetings.Several members plan to attend the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs (OAGC) Convention at the end of
August. Also, five members plan to participate in the region fall tour to see the gardens at the governor’s
mansion.Following the meeting members admired the flower containers of Donna Trautman and toured the Bachman
backyard.The next meeting will be held Sept. 24 at Fern Kao’s home. The program topic will be "Orchids
