BASCOM — For the second straight Division I district tournament game, Perrysburg avenged a regular season loss, propelling the Yellow Jackets to next week’s regional tournament.

FREMONT — Perrysburg swept Toledo Notre Dame, 25-15, 25-19, 25-8, in Division I tournament volleyball Wednesday at Fremont Ross, and now the Yellow Jackets get a chance to avenge a regular season loss to the Ross Little Giants next week.

WHITEHOUSE — Anthony Wayne earned an outright Northern Lakes League Buckeye Division volleyball championship by sweeping Perrysburg, 26-24, 25-20, 25-15, Tuesday.

PERRYSBURG — Visiting Bowling Green volleyball had set point on Perrysburg, but the Jackets recovered to win the third set and the match, 25-21, 25-16, 29-27, Thursday in Northern Lakes League action.

PERRYSBURG — Not only did last year’s Perrysburg volleyball team reach the state tournament, but they shared the Northern Lakes League title with Springfield, finishing 21-7 overall and 12-2 in the league.

PERRYSBURG — Defending Division I state semifinalist Perrysburg opened the season on Saturday hosting an Amherst Steele team that the Yellow Jackets know well.

DAYTON — Perrysburg volleyball’s tournament run ended Friday with a 25-16, 25-16, 25-18 loss to Rocky River Magnificat in the Division I state semifinals at Wright State University’s Nutter Center.

NORWALK — Perrysburg volleyball is heading to the Division I state final four after sweeping Medina Highland, 25-13, 25-20, 26-24, in a regional final Saturday at Norwalk High School.

NORWALK — Perrysburg trailed in all four sets but won three to defeat No. 12 Sylvania Northview in a Division I regional semifinal Thursday.
